Summer Media Intern
FITZ & CO is seeking motivated media interns, who are passionate about art and media and have a strong desire to develop a greater understanding of the contemporary art market and digital landscape. Candidates should be polished, professional, and self-motivated, with impeccable written and verbal communication skills, and a sharp analytical mind. Ideal candidates will have experience creating and researching content across editorial media. Qualified candidates harbor an astute interest on the pulse in the contemporary art, culture, and consumer brand space. You will work directly with and help support the Media Team. This internship offers a learning opportunity by being involved in Q&A sessions with team members from each department and writing and presentation workshops.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Successful candidates will be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications or a related area.
- Independent self-starter; ambitious hard-worker
- Basic knowledge of the contemporary art industry
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Mac-savvy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
- Prior experience with CRM is preferred, although not required
- Foreign language skills a plus
TERM: Summer internship; June–August 2026. Note: Start and end dates will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
HOURS: This internship will require a commitment of 24 – 32 hours a week. Working days are Mondays through Friday from 10 am – 6 pm EST. (Final schedule to be decided in collaboration with successful candidates.)
COMPENSATION: $17 per hour and/or credit through university/college
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is currently being performed in our NY Office. Every member of the FITZ & CO team must adopt and make daily use of office systems such as time tracking (Harvest) and the CRM (HubSpot and MuckRack).
