At FITZ & CO, we work at the intersection of culture, business, and influence—partnering with museums, artists, collectors, foundations, luxury brands, and mission-driven organizations to shape visibility, relevance, and reputation.

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive who is both strategic and highly executional: someone who leads with strong instincts, writes with clarity, understands how media works, and knows how to move a story from idea to impact.

The Senior Account Executive leads multiple client accounts across media relations, digital campaigns, events, and business development. This role builds trusted client relationships, manages expectations and budgets, drives measurable results, and supports long-term client growth.

The Senior Account Executive is both a client lead and a team leader, managing staff, mentoring talent, and contributing meaningfully to agency growth through business development and industry relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

Account Leadership

  • Lead multiple client accounts with strategic oversight and strong day-to-day execution
  • Serve as a senior client contact and trusted advisor
  • Build effective teams by setting goals, managing workflow, solving challenges, and ensuring profitability
  • Stay ahead of media, PR, and digital trends and apply insights to client strategy

Media Relations

  • Develop and execute proactive media outreach strategies
  • Draft and review press releases, pitches, briefing materials, and other media assets
  • Secure high-impact coverage through strong storytelling and thoughtful pitching
  • Build lasting relationships with writers, editors, producers, influencers, and key opinion leaders

Digital, Press Events & Business Development

  • Execute social and digital campaigns aligned with client goals and KPIs
  • Plan press events, influencer activations, VIP programs, and media previews
  • Create proposals, capabilities decks, case studies, and reports
  • Represent FITZ & CO at key industry events and cultural happenings

Qualifications

  • Agency, communications, or journalism experience required; arts, culture, museum, or nonprofit experience preferred
  • Exceptional writing skills with strong journalistic instincts—we are looking for sharp storytellers who understand how media works and how narratives land
  • Proven experience managing people
  • Established relationships with writers, editors, and producers across arts, culture, business, and lifestyle media
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategy
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Foreign language fluency is a plus

Working with FITZ & CO

This is a hybrid/remote role based in London, requiring domestic and international travel for client events and activations. Availability outside standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM), including occasional evenings and weekends, to support client needs and work across time zones.

Diversity, Equity & Belonging

We are committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where every employee feels valued, supported, and empowered to lead. We actively seek to diversify our recruitment pool and attract team members with a wide range of identities, experiences, and perspectives.

We foster open and healthy communication across lines of difference, invest in mentorship and professional growth, and believe every employee is a leader whose ideas strengthen our collective work. Through ongoing education, thoughtful accountability, and a global outlook attentive to cultural differences, we work to advance inclusion, belonging, and justice.

We are committed to honoring each person’s dignity and celebrating the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and talents within our team.

The art world moves fast, and so do we. At FITZ & CO, we work at the intersection of art, business, and culture. We’re looking for a sharp, organized, digitally fluent Senior Account Executive to help bring our clients’ stories to life across every platform that matters.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the craft of digital marketing: building the calendar, writing the copy, watching the analytics, and turning a great idea into a campaign that actually ships. If you’re equally comfortable in a content strategy doc and on the floor of an art fair, keep reading.

The Role
As Senior Account Executive, you’ll manage day-to-day client relationships and drive the execution of integrated digital marketing and social media campaigns across a diverse portfolio. You’ll coordinate content strategy, campaign execution, social media management, digital communications, and reporting, partnering closely with leadership, clients, and internal teams to deliver work that’s on time, on brand, and on point.

What You’ll Do
● Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and high-quality service while supporting account profitability.
● Manage execution of digital and social campaigns aligned to client goals, brand standards, and KPIs.
● Build and maintain social calendars, campaign timelines, and content schedules.
● Support digital strategy across audience engagement, content planning, community management, influencer outreach, and paid social.
● Draft and edit social copy, digital content, presentations, reports, and client communications.
● Develop and execute paid campaigns, then monitor performance and deliver analytics reporting with strategic recommendations.
● Participate in client meetings and presentations, inlcluding communicating updates, insights, and results.
● Create visually engaging content across platforms; support photography, video, editing, and graphic assets where applicable.
● Help manage influencer partnerships, collaborations, and activations, including live event coverage and real-time content.
● Support the agency’s own digital presence, including website updates, social channels, marketing materials, business development decks, executive visibility, and email/newsletter campaigns.
● Keep workflows, timelines, and documentation organized, and contribute to SOPs and operational improvements.
● Mentor and support junior staff where applicable.

What You Bring
Must Have
● Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, PR, Digital Media, or a related field.
● 3–6 years in digital marketing, social media management, PR, or agency account management, with agency or fast-paced client-services experience strongly preferred.
● Strong command of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging channels.
● Experience with analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Statusbrew, or similar).
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects preferred), plus content creation, light photo retouching, and video editing.
● Familiarity with CMS platforms and email marketing tools is a plus.
● Excellent writing, organization, and attention to detail; the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines; and the self-motivation to thrive in a remote environment.
● A genuine passion for digital marketing, creativity, culture, and storytelling, and an interest in leveraging AI to enhance content, engagement, and brand storytelling.
● A willingness to get out in the field: art industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Nice to Have
● Experience within the arts, culture, luxury, or lifestyle sectors, and familiarity with Web3, influencer marketing, and digital community engagement.

The Details
This is a hybrid/remote role within the United States, with core hours of Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM. It requires domestic and occasional international travel for client meetings, events, conferences, and activations. Some availability outside standard hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, may be needed to support launches, events, or urgent client matters. You’ll need a professional remote work environment and reliable internet.

Compensation: $72,000-$90,000, dependent upon experience and location

● Lead, mentor, and develop your team while establishing the workflows, SOPs, and standards that position FITZ & CO as a leader in digital influence and cultural relevance.

What You Bring
Must Have
● 8–12+ years in influencer marketing, digital marketing, social media strategy, PR, or communications, with agency experience strongly preferred.
● 4+ years of people management and team leadership.
● A track record leading integrated influencer and creator campaigns with measurable business impact, and managing enterprise-level clients across multi-channel programs.
● Deep fluency in the creator economy and influencer platforms (CreatorIQ, Traackr, Aspire, GRIN, Captiv8, Upfluence, or similar).
● Strong command of social platforms, algorithms, content formats, and monetization trends.
● Working knowledge of GA4, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn/TikTok analytics, social listening tools, and CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
● Familiarity integrating AI into content, audience analysis, and campaign optimization.
● A strategic, entrepreneurial mind; exceptional communication and presentation skills; and a genuine read on culture, trends, and audience psychology.

Nice to Have
● Experience within the arts, culture, luxury, lifestyle, entertainment, technology, or hospitality sectors.
● An established network of creators, media contacts, and opinion leaders.
● Experience with executive thought leadership programs.
● Knowledge of Web3, social commerce, and emerging creator economy trends.
● Public speaking and industry thought leadership experience.
